Physics, then code — the long way round.

I build the platforms other people build on. I was an early adopter of the Python data stack, long before it was the obvious choice, and carried it from research into industry; since 2022 I’ve been building the infrastructure behind Cardano at Tweag. None of that is worth much if it stays with me, so a good part of the work is mentoring people and encouraging them to build.
